The Kraftsolms Village Run is a popular race taking place on July 7, 2024, in Kraftsolms. With over 130 participants, including many from the community of Waldsolms and the surrounding area, both the 10.4 km and 5.4 km courses are offered. The varied route leads through and around the village, with the start and finish at the community center. The roads are secured by the volunteer fire department, and there will be a competition office as well as refreshment stands on-site.
Highlights
- Nico Debus set a new course record over the 5.4 km with a time of 18:51 minutes.
- Sonja Behrens broke the previous women's record for the 5.4 km with a time of 23:13 minutes.
- The SG 2010 Waldsolms had the largest group at the race with 45 participants and demonstrated an outstanding team performance.
